English: Buttshill Cross. Not the prettiest of names, overlooked by a dark conifer plantation, and impossible to photograph, but my favourite road junction anywhere! Four lanes and a track meet here at a little col between steep valleys. This image merely shows two of them, the track (followed by a footpath to Marldon) climbing to the left up to Beacon Hill, and 758118. |
