English: Ship of Theseus Fireplace with mysterious line of Latin text. To contribute to its decipherment and translation, please see: here.
Ship of Theseus From the above link, several Latiners have opined by deciphering sections of the inscription which includes multiple short phrases from its various parts while not indicating their order. One assortment is as follows: In hexameter:"“The House of the Sun shines ghastly power on the globe like the moon shines in the sky, and this house must navigate itself like a ship under atrocious waves into wreckage while not resting against (or future) moon, sky, and earth to make you invulnerable and a grammarian carver. Please father, there are more signs on the chimney, and I still bite my teeth from when she was a doorway with no fireplace walls.” ” Decorative smoke can be found on all four sides of the North Tower, as well as barbed wire, but it does not appear on any of other exterior parts of the castle while made of the same texture, facing the same directions, and being exposed to the same meteorological phenomena. |
