Description
English: Bust of Sir Peter Scott, WWT, Caerlaverock Sir Peter Scott, 1909-1989, founder of the Wildlife and Wetlands Trust. The WWT centre at Caerlaverock is a major site for over-wintering ducks and geese, especially of the Barnacle Goose which migrates here every winter from breeding grounds in Svalbard. The centre was opened in 2002 by King Haakon of Norway. http://www.wwt.org.uk/visit/caerlaverock/default.asp
