Summary

[edit]
Description
English: In 1904, Richmond P. Hobson had political ambitions, which failed. Bushnell portrays Hobson swimming away from the wreckage of a boat (labeled "Hobson's Congressional Ambitions", and being rescued by Admiral Cervera (who Hobson defeated in the Spanish-American War). Hobson comments to Cervera that now he too knows what defeat feels like.

Hobson was subsequently elected to the 60th United States Congress.
