| Description |
English: Burtonport Ferry arriving to take on vehicles & people This ferry travels NW in a channel between various islands (Rutland to the left and two small islands and the larger Inishcoo & Eighter Islands to the right) before heading W & SW to dock at Leabgarrow Harbour on Arranmore Island, which is the largest island off the west coast of Donegal. Arranmore has a population of about 400 people, more or less. Passing close to islands on both sides is quite interesting (derelict and new structures, beautiful coastal scenery). |
