| Description |
English: Burrow Head cairn There's no sign on the maps of this one being any sort of ancient cairn, despite the preponderance of homesteads and promontory forts all along this coast - it may just be a pile of stones of no particular historical relevance. However, it does sit at the southernmost point of the Machars peninsula, and the second-most-southerly point of Scotland, so it's significant for those reasons. |
