Sam May Jr. for expenses for fugitives. $3.15” The next entry reads “ “ “ Burrill Smith for boarding Jenny Buchannan. $1.72” On March 10, 1860, The Boston Vigilance Committee reimbursed Burrill Smith for $1.72 boarding Jenny Buchannan. This selection of the Vigilance Committee Treasurers Account book is used for the Burrill Smith Jr. story map.
