Description The Burnside Trolley Building is an office building that was originally Bay E of the West Ankeny Carbarns of the Portland, Oregon, streetcar system. This view is from the northeast, from Couch Street. The streetcar tracks entered the building here, but this end of the structure has been heavily rebuilt since the end of the building's original usage. The parking lot at left was the site of another carbarn building, Bay D of the same complex, during the streetcar era.
