Description
English: Burmiokwosel Choling Monastery at Burmiok village, South Sikkim. This is a Karma Kagyupa sect Monastery which was built in 1873 A.D. The monastery building was damaged by earthquake twice and the lamas had to rebuild it in 1954. Later, the old structure was replaced by a new one with the help of government aid.
