Description
English: "The Burlington Junction Railway (reporting mark 'BJRY') is a Class III short-line railroad that was chartered in 1985.

Originally operating on the southernmost 3 miles of the former Burlington, Cedar Rapids and Northern Railway mainline in Burlington, Iowa after abandonment by the Chicago, Rock Island and Pacific Railroad, the BJRY provides short freight hauling, switching operations, locomotive repair, and trans-loading services, the latter currently handling over 3,000 carloads a year. Typical commodity types transported include chemicals and fertilizer.

The BJRY's primary interchange partner is the Burlington Northern Santa Fe (BNSF) Railway.

The BJRY operates several local industrial railroads, including one in Quincy (IL) using 7 miles of track and primarily connecting to the BNSF and Norfolk Southern railroads."
