English: Burghclere Station (remains). View southwards, towards Winchester; ex-Great Western, Didcot Newbury & Southampton Line (Newbury - Winchester section). This station was closed to passengers on 7/3/60 when the services were withdrawn Newbury - Winchester, but remained open to goods until 6/5/63 when the line was closed completely - two weeks after this photograph. |
