English: Burger King, Peterborough The building in Cathedral Square does not look anything like this on a 1904 postcard http://www.francisfrith.com/search/england/cambridgeshire/peterborough/photos/peterborough_51545.htm so this facade must be a 20th century fake. In 1965 it was Hepworth Tailors; I am told it was sometime Boots the Chemist; and as of 2008 it is Pizza Express.
Apparently it was built 1911, and is a listed building solely as a curiosity. The main feature of the front is a group of 5 brightly-painted statues in niches. Athelwold, bishop of Winchester (over) Prince Rupert and King Peada (over) the Earl of Essex flank a central statue of Henry VIII.
