Omschrijving: Burgemeester Adolph Westerwijk te Goes ter dood veroordeeld in een conflict met stadhouder Willem III. De straf werd echter omgezet in levenslang. In de voorstelling trekken soldaten de vrouw weg van de burgemeester op het moment dat hij uit de gevangenis wordt gebracht, 30 december 1692.
