ADN-ZB-Sturm - 30.5.80 - 1877 wurde der dicke Wohn- und Wasserturm - er steht im Berliner Stadtbezirk Prenzlauer Berg zwischen Belforter Straße und Knäckstraße - fertig. Er gehörte zum Zwischenpumpwerk für Berlins Wasser und war hoch genug für alle damaligenHäuser der Stadt. 1914 übernahm das Werk Lichtenberg die Arbeit. Die Pumpen standen still in Prenzlauer Berg, aber als Wasserspeicher diente der Turm bis 1952. Nun überforderten ihn die ersten Hochhäuser der heutigen Karl-Marx-Allee. Da schenkten ihn die Wasserwerke der KWV.
