For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Rosental, Papierfabrik, Kläranlage
ADN-ZB Liebers-22.12.78 Bez. Gera: Abwasseraufbereitung-Zum Schutz deer Saale und ihrer Stauseen vor Schadstoffen investierte der Staat beim Neubau der Zellstoff- und Papierfabrik Rosental in Blankenstein mehr als 60 Millionen Mark. Im Altbereich liefen durchschnittlich 30 Prozent der Sulfitablauge über Klärteiche zusammen mit anderen Abwassern in die Saale. Heute werden 97 Prozent der Ablauge zur Rückgewinnung wichtiger Holzaufschlußchemikalien erfaßt und in einer Spezialanlage zur Dampferzeugung genutzt. Für die restlichen drei Prozent entstand eine zweistufige biologische Abwasserreinigungsanlage (Foto) , die weitgehend automatisiert ist. |
