For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Häßler-4.3.78-pe-Dresden: Schöne DDR- Der Lange Gang am Stallhof des Dresdner Schlosses wird originalgetreu rekonstruiert. Der Gang, reich verziert mit Ornamenten und Wappen, wird von 22 toskanischen Säulen getragen. Er verbindet das Johanneum und das Georgentor und wurde am 13. Februar 1945 stark zerstört. Die Bauarbeiten am Stallhof sollen bis zum 30. Jahrestag der DDR abgeschlossen sein.
