Gückow, Bau Torfveredelungswerk

Illus-Pietsch Mecklenburger Aktivist mauert 7.000 Steine in acht Stunden., 5.7.49 Der beim Bau des Torfveredelungswerkes in Guckow bei Sanitz (Mecklenburg) tätige Maurer Groth, den die Leistung des ersten mecklenburgischen Bau-Aktivisten nicht ruhen ließ, mauerte in einer achtstündigen Schicht bei einer Baustelle von 35 m Länge zusammen mit seinen Kollegen Gallmeier und Pommerenke 7.001 Steine. Seine Arbeit fand die Anerkennung durch den FDGB und die örtliche Bauleitung. Seine Leistung trägt mit dazu bei, eines der größten Bauvorhaben Mecklenburgs vorfristig fertigzustellen. Das Torfveredelungswerk, das erste dieser Art in der sowjetische besetzten Zone, wird 160 Arbeitern Lohn und Brot geben. U.B.z.: Gesamtansicht der Baustelle
