Wensickendorf, Turmwächter ADN-ZB Sturm 18.6.1976-Zum Beitrag: Der Turmwächter im Bergsdorfer Forst - Schutz unserer Wälder vor dem "roten Eichkater" Hoch oben von seinem Feuerwachturm bei Wensickendorf im Bergsdorfer Forst, beobachtet der 69-jährige Brandschutzwächter Bernhard Lewy, mit dem Feldstecker bewaffnet, an durchschnittlich 125 Tagen im Jahr die grüne Umgebung bis zum Horizont. Er weiß sehr gut, wie wichtig sein Dienst für den Schutz des Waldes vor dem roten Eichkater - er ist das Symbol für drohende Brandgefahr, ist. Mit großer Sicherheit kann Bernhard Lewy, der seit 14 Jahren auf dem Feuerwachturm Dienst tut und hier rund 15.000 Stunden verbrachte, bei eventuell aufsteigendem Rauch, feststellen, ob er einer ungefährlichen Quelle entsteigt. Bereits zweimal wurde er als Brandschutzwächter des Staatichen Forstwirtschaftsbetriebes Oranienburg mit der Auszeichnung als Aktivist geehrt. (Bitte beachten Sie hierzu auch R0618-305N und 306N)
