For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rostock, Überseehafen, Nacht ADN-ZB Sindermann 26.1.76 Rostock: Um den steigenden Außenhandelstransport über See im Fünfjahrplan 1976 - 80 mit höchstem Nutzen für unsere Volkswirtschaft zu bewältigen ist es notwendig, die Transport- und Umschlagleistungen auf 135-140% zu steigern. In diesem Jahr wollen die Kollektive an den Kais des Rostocker Überseehafens rund 1, 9 (1, 9) Millionen Tonnen Güter mehr umschlagen als 1975. Dabei nutzen die Hafenarbeiter die vorhandene Technik "rund um die Uhr". Zu den wichtigsten Intensivierungsmaßnahmen gehören die Inbetriebnahme einer neuen Umschlagsanlage für Getreide und Futtermittel und die Rekonstruktion der Schüttgutanlage. (vergl. dazu R0126-9N).
