For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Rachlau, Bau eines Wasserspeichers ADN-ZB Häßler 9.7.75 Bez. Dresden: 240.000 m³ Beregnungswasser für 200 ha landwirtschaftliche Nutzfläche werden später in diesem Wasserspeicher gesammelt, den Werktätige des VEB Meliorationsbau Dresden gegenwärtig in Rachlau, Kreis Bautzen, errichten. Mit dem Bau von Be- und Entwässerungsanlagen, Betonwirtschaftswegen, Flußbefestigungen, Vorflutern und Landwirtschaftsbauten leisten die Meliorationstechniker dieses Betriebes einen wichtigen Beitrag zur Intensivierung der Agrarproduktion im Bezirk.
