For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Häßler-12.11.1974-la-Bez. Dresden: Das Qualitätssiegel "1.Wahl" tragen 97 Prozent aller Produkte aus dem VEB Herrenmode Dresden. Bei ihren Gütekontrollen überprüfen Ruth Haufe (r) und Vertrauensmann Elke Ertl im Betriebsteil Bischofswerda sorgfältig alle Details. Durch gewissenhafte Führung des sozialistischen Wettbewerbs wollen die Kollektive in den verbleibenden Wochen bis zum Jahresende noch einmal zusätzlich Herrenoberbekleidung im Wert von mehr als 2,3 Millionen Mark herstellen.
