For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Meliorationsarbeiten, Entwässerung ADN-ZB Müller-24.10.74 Frankfurt-O.: Komplexmelioration eines Niedermoorgebietes. 6600 Hektar eines Niedermoorgebietes in der Randow-Welse-Niederung im Norden des Bezirkes Frankfurt-Oder werden bis 1977 durch komplexe Melioration erschlossen. Meliorationsarbeiter der Brigade Stampa des Meliorationskombinates Neubrandenburg-Betrieb Ückermünde verlegen hier einen Rohrdurchlaß mit Staukopf. Neben der Regulierung des Wasserhaushaltes mit offenen Gräben, Stauanlagen und großdimensionierten Plastdränen zur Grünlanderneuerung auf 90% der Flächen ist eine völlig neue Gestaltung des Wirtschaftswegenetzes vorgesehen.
