For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Zum Beitrag: "Freizeitparadies auf Trümmerbergen - Erholsame Stunden zwischen Märchenbrunnen und Mon Klomott" ADN-ZB-Sturm - 24.5.74 Der beliebteste unter den 60 Parks und Grünanlagen der DDR-Hauptstadt Berlin ist wohl der Friedrichshain. Dieser über 125 Jahre bestehende traditionsreiche Voldspark hält für die Hundertausenden Besucher des In- und Auslands von Märchenbrunnen bis zum Mont Klamott so manche Attraktion parat. Auf dem 50 Hektar umfassenden Gelände des Friedrichhains im Herzen der Hauptstadt wird gegenwärtig eine langfristige Rokonstruktion der Anlage vorgenommen, woran die Berliner lebhaft Anteil nehmen. Mancher junge Berliner weiß vielleicht gar nicht, daß die beiden "Berge", darunter der 78 Meter hohe Mont Klamott, aus Trümmern bestehen, die inzwischen längst von Grün überwachsen sind. UBz: Ein Spaziergang in den Friedrichshain bietet den Berliner Familien und ihren Gästen immer erholsame und erlebnisreichen Stunden. |
