For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB-Sturm-24. 5. 1974-Berlin: Kranzniederlegungen Bildender Künstler. Delegierte des VII. Kongresses des Verbandes Bildender Künstler der DDR, der am 28. 5. 1974 in Karl-Marx-Stadt beginnt, legten am 24. 5. 1974 an Berliner Gedenkstätten und Gräbern hervorragender Künstlerpersönlichkeiten Kränze nieder. Am Käthe-Kollwitz-Denkmal (Prenzlauer Berg) fanden sich zum ehrenden Gedenken der Bildhauer Werner Richter, der Maler Ronald Paris und der Bildhauer René Grätz (v. l. n. r. ) ein.

Anmerkung: Das Kollwitz-Denkmal ist ein Werk des Bildhauers Gustav Seitz, der in der ADN-Fotobeschreibung unerwähnt blieb.
