For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Erfurt, Rieht, Wohnhochhäuser, Omnibus ADN-ZB Ludwig-7.2.1974 Erfurt: Bis dicht an das neue Wohnzentrum Rieht in Erfurt führt das erweiterte Verkehrsnetz heran. Unser Foto zeigt eine Omnibushaltestelle in der Vilniuser Straße. Die Bauarbeiter des Wohnungsbaukombinates Erfurt und ihre Kooperationspartner wollen im ersten Quartal 1974 1034 Wohnungen bauen. Damit knüpfen sie an die guten Leistungen in der Vergangeheit an. Insgesamt wollen die Werktätigen des WBK in diesem Jahr über 3900 Wohnungen, 1260 Kindergarten- und über 600 Kinderkrippenplätze errichten. Schulklassen, Einkaufsstätten u.a. runden das Programm ab.
