For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Eisenbahnstreckenbau, CSD-Betonmischzug ADN-ZB Häßler 21.3.73 Bez. Dresden: Künftig mit "120" in Richtung CSSR- 500 Betonfundamente für Fahrleitungsmasten zur Aufnahme des elektrischen Zugbetriebes haben CSSR-Baukollektive jetzt am gegenwärtig wichtigsten komplexen Rekonstruktionsvorhaben der Deutschen Reichsbahn, der Transitstrecke Dresden-Schöna- Staatsgrenze CSSR, fertiggestellt. Gemeinsam mit Werktätigen aus etwa 40 Betrieben des befreundeten Nachbarlandes und der DDR lösten sie eine der Aufgaben des sozialistischen Komplexwettbewerbes, der den termin- und qualitätsgerechten Abschluß aller Bauabschnitte vorsieht. Unser Foto zeigt einen Blick auf einen Betonmischzug der CSD. Bauarbeiter füllen Beton in die Fundamente für die Oberleitung. Die Traktionsumstellung ermöglicht Geschwindigkeiten bis zu 120 km-h.
