Description |
English: German soldiers in Krakow, Poland in front of a sign promoting an art exhibition in the Cloth Hall entitled "German artists see the General Government". The General Government was the occupied area of Poland (minus western Polish territories annexed directly to the German Reich) under Nazi German rule from 1939 to early 1945. The Cloth Hall (Sukiennice) dates to the Renaissance and is one of Krakow's most recognizable buildings. |
