ADN-ZB Deutsche Demokratische Republik 10.11.1972 Friedrichstadt-Palast in der DDR-Hauptstadt Berlin. Am Bertolt-Brecht-Platz von Berlin, in enger Nachbarschaft zum Brecht-Theater Berliner Ensemble, steht das Gebäude des Friedrichstadt-Palastes. Unser Foto zeigt einen Blick auf die der Spree zugewandte Seite des Hauses mit der Programm-Ankündigung für November 1972, das sich R - wie Revue nennt. Mit seinen etwa 3000 Plätzen ist der Friedrichstadt-Palast das größte Verietétheater der DDR. Die Vergangenheit dieses Gebäudes ist so kunterbunt wie das monatliche Programm des Hauses. Im Jahre 1869 wurde es als Markthalle errichtet, die dann später einem Zirkus als Etablissement diente, das im zweiten Weltkrieg schwer zerstört wurde. In vereinfachter Form wurde es nach dem Kriege wiederaufgebaut und dient seitdem als Varietétheater und Kundgebungsstätte der DDR-Hauptstadt. Foto: Kaufhold Copyright: ADN-Zentralbild |
