For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
ADN-ZB Richter 26.11.71 Bez. Cottbus: Im VEB Chemiefaserwerk Wilhlm-Pieck-Stadt Guben, dem modernsten Betrieb des VEB Chemiefaserkombinat Schwarza "Wilhelm Pieck", wird unter anderem auch Dederon-textur (SV) produziert. Allgemein als Dedotex bekannt eignet sich diese endlosed texturierte, wollähnlihce Grobseide besonders für die Herstellung von Teppichen und Möbelstoffen. Konsumgüter aus Dedotex sind scheerfest, strapazierfähig, trittelastisch, bauschig und verrottungsfest. Man kann mit Recht behaupten, daß Dedotex innerhalt seines Einsatzgebietes alle bisher dafür verwendeten Fasern übertrifft und damit das Weltniveau bestimmt.
Unser Foto zeigt den Teil der Texturiermaschinenstraße mit zur Weiterverarbeitung fertigem Dedotex auf den Spulen.
