  • Infolge eines im Osteinsatz zugezogenen Leidens verstarb am Mittwoch im 52. Lebensjahr der frühere Landesgruppenleiter der Auslandsorganisation in China Franz Xaver Hasenöhrl, Hauptmann d.R. a.D. und Ministerialdirigent z.V. im Reichsministerium für Volksaufklärung und Propaganda. Hasenöhrl, der bereits vor der Machtübernahme die erste Parteiorganisation in China gründete, hatte sich während der Kriegsgefangenschaft, in die er 1915 als aktiver österreichischer Offizier gefallen war, und während seiner abenteuerlichen Flucht von Sibiren nach China eine fliessende Beherrschung der russischen Sprache angeeignet. Kraft seiner Sprach- und Landeskenntnisse wurde er beim Wirtschaftsstab Ost als Kriegsverwaltungsvizechef für die Bearbeitung von Transportfragen eingesetzt. Später wurde er in die Reichswerke Hermann Göring berufen und dort mit der Wahrnehmung der Schiffahrtsfragen im Osten betraut. Mit Franz Xaver Hansöhrl verliert die Partei einen vorbildlichen Kämpfer.
