For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Sindermann 19.12.70 Rostock: Hochbetrieb im Überseehafen. Hunderte ZT 300-Traktoren werden als Exportgüter der Schönebecker Traktorenbauer im Rostocker Überseehafen für die Inselrepublik Kuba verladen. Links löscht der Frachter "Brno" aus der CSSR Transitgüter. Auch in den letzten Wochen des Jahres 1970 herrscht an den kilometerlangen Kais Hochbetrieb. Enge Kooperation mit dem VEB Deutrans und der Deutschen Reichsbahn sichert, daß die notwendigen Waggons rechtzeitig bereitgestellt werden und die Hochseefrachter zügig Exportgüter aus der DDR an Bord nehmen können. Durch die komplexe sozialistische Rationalisierung im Stückgutbereich erreichten die Umschlagarbeiter hohe Leistungen im Umschlag.
