Zentralbild Raphael 2.12.70 Leipzig: In Vorbereitung des Tages des Gesundheitswesens - Kreiskrankenhaus- Poliklinik Borna

Ausbildungszentrum für die Südkreise des Bezirkes Leipzig ist das Kreiskrankenhaus Borna. Diese im Zentrum des Braunkohlenbergbaus liegende Einrichtung bildet in einer 2 1/2 jährigen Lehrzeit rund 300 Schwestern, Kinderkrankenschwestern und Kinderpflegerinnen aus. Das richtige Tragen und Halten eines Kleinstkindes gehört ebenfalls zu dieser Ausbildung. Lehrausbilderin Ingrid Ohrl (M.) erklärt es den künftigen Krankenschwestern. Das Krankenhaus, eine mit der Poliklinik gebildete Einheit, ist seit 1962 mit allen wesentlichen klinischen und poliklinischen Abteilungen in Betrieb. Von hier aus wird der kommunale und betriebliche Sektor des Kreises versorgt.
