Zentralbild Link 21.1.1970 Dresden: Kulturpalast-Der große Saal des zum 20. Jahrestag der DDR eröffneten Dresdner Kulturpalastes ist ein Mehrzweckraum. Er kann sowohl bei festlichen Veranstaltungen - unser Foto zeigt eine Feier der Abteilung Projektierung des VEB Baukombinat Dresden - als auch für Konferenzen, Kinovorstellungen, Theateraufführungen und Konzerte genutzt werden. Architektonisch interessant sind das Kipp-Parkett und die drehbaren Gassentürme an der Bühne. (zweiteiliges Panorama) Je nach Art der Veranstaltung bietet der Saal 804 bis 2740 Plätze. Die Bühne hat mit Orchestergraben eine Tiefe von 16,10m. Das Dresdner Kulturhaus wurde im Zentrum der Stadt am wiedererrichteten Altmarkt in 33 Monaten erbaut. Der Palast verfügt über zahlreiche Klub- und Zirkelräume, Gesellschaftszimmer, über Gaststätten und eine Ausstellungshalle sowie ein Studiotheater. Die Grundfläche des weitläufigen Gebäudes beträgt 7380 Quadratmeter. Als ständige Wirkungsstätte der Dresdner Philharmonie bietet das Haus den Einwohnern der Stadt und des Bezirks Dresden zahlreiche kulturelle Höhepunkte. Außerdem ist es ein Zentrum des Volkskunstschaffens. |
