For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Reiche ku 14.10.1968 Berlin: VEB Berliner Glühlampen-Werk Die Feuchtrigkeit von Gasen, die später zum Füllen der Leuchtstoffröhren benutzt werden, bestimmt Chem. Ing. Cordula Hankel im chemischen Labor des VEB Berliner Glühlampen-Werk. Das Kollektiv des Chemie-Labors ist eine von den 154 Brigaden des Werkes, die um den Titel "Kollektiv der sozialistischen Arbeit" kämpfen. Innerhalb eines Jahres qualifizierten sich 64 Prozent der Brigademitglieder des Chemie-Kollektivs. Weiterhin gelang es ihnen, die vorgegebene Analysendurchlaufzeit für eingehende Werkstoffe (Draht, Leuchtstoff, Öle, Lösungsmittel) von 10 Tagen auf 4,9 Tage zu senken. Eine Verringerung der notwendigen Umlaufmittel ist dadurch gesichert."
