For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Auszubildender Meliorationstechniker Zentralbild Lehmann 6.2.1968 Neubrandenburg: Meliorationstechniker steigern die Bodenfruchtbarkeit Das Nivellieren will gelernt sein! Der 17jährige Lehrling Bernd Riebort übt sich im Nivellieren, denn es gehört zu den wichtigsten Grundkenntnissen eines Meliorationstechnikers. 150 Jugendliche erlernen gegenwärtig den Beruf eines Meliorationstechnikers in der BBS des VE-Meliorationskombinates Neubrandenburg. Um die Steigerung der Bodenfruchtbarkeit zu erreichen, eine der vorrangigen Aufgaben der Landwirtschaft, werden im Bezirk Neubrandenburg etwa 66000 Hektar landwirtschaftlicher Nutzfläche melioriert. Nach Beendigung dieses Projektes wird allein im Kreis Röbel jährlich ein volkswirtschaftlicher Nutzen von 25 Millionen Mark erwirtschaftet. (Bitte beachten Sie hierzu auch unsere Fotos Nr.
