For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme. Berlin, Otto Nagel-Ausstellung, Ihering
Zentralbild ZB 24.3.1966 "Berliner Bilder", eine Sammlung, in der ausschließlich Altberliner Motive aus der Schaffenszeit Prof. Otto Nagels von 1933 bis 1965 gezeigt werden, wurde am 23.3.1966 in der Westberliner Ladengalerie eröffnet. In kurzen Einführungsworten berichtete der Vizepräsident der Deutschen Akademie der Künste, Prof. Otto Nagel (rechts), wie es dazu kan, daß er nach 1933 begann, Altberliner Motive zu malen. Der Theaterkritiker Herbert Ihering (links) würdigte in seiner Ansprache vor rund 100 Teilnehmern das künstlerische Werk Otto Nagels. Abgebildete Personen:
