For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Gahlbeck 27.8.1963 Messevorbereitung im VEB Quintett-Moden Glauchau Zu den Spitzenerzeugnissen die von der Konfektionsindustrie zur Leipziger Herbstmesse 1963 angeboten werden, gehören sportlich-elegante Damenmäntel aus "Greysin", einem Mischgewebe aus Viskose- und Dederon-Fasern. Durch das leichte Gewicht des eingesetzten Materials werden diese Modelle zu idealen Übergangsmänteln. Die hohen Gebrauchseigenschaften werden vor allem durch die knitterarme "Speziter"-Ausrüstung sowie durch den Einsatz synthetischer Fasern bestimmt. Ubz.: In der Musterabteilung werden die Massenmodelle einer letzten Kontrolle unterzogen. Dieser Übergangsmantel aus "Greysin" ist ein gerader Hänger mit kleinem Revers und Pattentaschen."
