For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Schmidt Sta-Qu 18.12.1962 Einen jährlichen Nutzen von 12.056,20 DM ... bringt ein Verbesserungsvorschlag des Eisenflechterbrigadiers Harald Fiedler von der Baustelle Kraftwerk II in Leuna II. Beim Armieren der 8 Meter hohen Wände und Säulen im Längsbau des Tiefbunkers muß für jedes Wandteil und für jede Säule ein Arbeitsgerüst errichtet werden. Das Auf- und Abbauen erfordert einen erheblichen Arbeitsaufwand. Jetzt wird nach dem Vorschlag von Harald Fiedler ein transportables Stahlgerüst verwendet, das mit dem Kran beliebig umgesetzt werden kann (unser Bild). Arbeitskräfte, die bisher zum Umbau des Gerüstes benötigt wurden, können jetzt in dieser Zeit zum Verlegen von Eisen eingesetzt werden und viel Zeit wird eingespart.
