Zentralbild-Schmidt We/Qu 1.11.1962 Erste Hochdruck-Polyäthylenanlage der DDR in Probebetrieb Die erste Hochdruckanlage zur Gewinnung von Polyäthylen, die in den Leuna-Werken errichtet wird, hat dieser Tage den Probebetrieb aufgenommen. Die Funktionsprobe der einzelnen Aggregate ist bereits erfolgreich verlaufen. Die gesamte Anlage ist nach den modernsten Gesichtspunkten aufgebaut, weitestgehend automatisiert und stellt ein wichtiges Staatsplanvorhaben unserer chemischen Industrie dar-. Das in der neuen Anlage erzeugte Polyäthylen gehört zu den volkswirtschaftlich wertvollsten Plaststoffen. UBz.: Der Betriebsleiter der Anlage, Dipl.Chemiker M. Rätzsch (rechts), überprüft mit dem Werkstättenleiter Dipl.Ing.H. Richter das erzeugte Polyäthylen auf die Reinheit.
