For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Schaar Tre-Qu 6.5.1961 Friedensfahrt-Vorbereitungen aus dem Etappenort Leipzig UBz. In Leipzig wurde ein Friedensfahrt-Denkmal gebaut. Die jeweiligen Namen der Sieger der Etappe nach Leipzig werden hier eingemeißelt.
