For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild Kollektiv 9.6.1960 2. Arbeiterfestspiele des FDGB. Konferenz Schreibender Arbeiter. Schreibende Arbeiter aus der gesamten DDR, unter ihnen der Brigadier Günter Glante aus dem Kombinat Bitterfeld und der Maxhütten-Kumpel Werner Barth, die am 6.6.1960 den Literaturpreis des FDGB erhielten, berieten am 8.6.1960 im Karl-Marx-Städter Klubhaus "Fritz Hecker" über ihre Probleme.
UBz: In einer Konferenzpause im Gespräch (v.l.n.r.) Brigadier Günter Glante vom EK Bitterfeld; Franz-Ferdinand Gust von der LPG "Patriot" in Pritzwalk und Karl-Heinz Rathgeber von der Komplexbrigade Wismut. F. Gust und K.-H. Rathgeber nehmen z.Zt. an einem Sonderstudium für Schreibende Arbeiter am Institut für Literatur in Leipzig teil.
