For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Siegert-We-Noa-27.1.1960 Walzrekord in Riesa. Jugendbrigade Weimert schaffte 900 nahtlose Rohre in einer Schicht.Eine in der Geschichte des Stahl-und Walzwerkes Riesa noch nie erreichte Produktionsleistung hat das Jugendkollektiv der Komplexbrigade Weimert im Rohrwerk I,das um den Titel "Brigade der sozialistischen Arbeit" kämpft, vollbracht. Das Kollektiv walzte dieser Tage in einer Schicht 900 nahtlose Rohre in einwandfreier Qualität und brach den bisherigen Rekord von 856 Rohren.Diese Höchstleistung konnte vor allem durch die pünktliche Bereitstellung der erforderlichen Blöcke und durch die verkürzte Reparatur am Walzengerüst erreicht werden.UBZ: Mitglieder der erfolgreichen Komplexpbrigade."
