For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Zentralbild-Biscan Frö-Qu 18.6.1959 Mehr Filter für die chemische Industrie. Die Filterbauer des volkseigenen Karl-Liebknecht-Werks in Magdeburg, die fast ausschließlich für die chemische Industrie der DDR und der sozialistischen Länder arbeiten, werden in diesem Jahr um 18 % mehr Filter produzieren als im Vorjahr. Das DAMW (Deutsches Amt für Material- und Warenprüfung) hat in Anerkennung der Qualitätsarbeit für 25 Filtertypen das Gütezeichen der "Sonderklasse" gegeben. Für weitere 15 Filtertypen hat das Liebknecht-Werk das Gütezeichen "1" erhalten. UBz. Aktivist Richtmeister Herbert Bodin bei der Montage des Siebbelags auf den Teller eines Planfilters, der für ein sowjetisches Werk gebaut wird.
