Vorbereitendes Material zum 10. Jahrestag der Gründung der DDR:
Es geht um die dominierende Stellung auf dem Weltmarkt.
Im VEB Nähmaschinenwerk Wittenberge haben die Kollegen sich verpflichtet, einen Maßnahmeplan zu erarbeiten, um das Nähmaschinenwerk Pfaff in der Westzone zu überholen und die dominierende Stellung auf dem Weltmarkt einzunehmen. So wird u.a. eine Taktstrasse für die mechanische Bearbeitung der Maschinengehäuse im Werk gebaut, für die 4 Millionen DM Investitionen zur Verfügung gestellt wurden. Die Taktstrasse soll im dritten Quartel 1959 anlaufen. Das bedeutet mit 4 Kollegen (bisher 15) pro Schicht eine Steigerung des Produktionsausstosses um 20%. Die Taktstrasse wird aufgebaut vom VEB "Hermann Schlimme". Das Werk exportiert in 28 Länder.
