For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
Mogger, Bauern beim Füttern Zentralbild -Gahlbeck 11.3.1959 LPG spezialisiert sich auf Viehzucht Um die Vorteile der genossenschaftlichen Großproduktion noch besser nutzen zu können, haben sich die Mitglieder der größten LPG im Bezirk Suhl, in Mogger( Kreis Liebau-Sonneberg ) entschlossen, die Arbeitder LPG auf Viehzucht und Mast zu spezialisieren. Noch in diesem Jahr soll der Rinderbestand von 242 Rindern auf 283 erhöht werden. Gleichzeitig soll die Milchleistung pro Kuh von 3000 Litern auf 3200 Liter gesteigert werden. Ausserdem wollen die Genossenschaftsbauern in diesem Jahr noch 34 Bullenkälber mästen. Auch der Schweinebestand wird auf 315 Stück ansteigen. UBz: Die Mitglieder der Viehzuchtbrigade der LPG "Ernst Thälmann" bei einer Brigadebesprechung.
