For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.
LPG Schenkenberg, Jahresabschluss Zentralbild Weiß 17.1.1959 Vgt-L-LPG Schenkenberg - achtfacher Millionär-Auf gute Erfolge kann die LPG ""7. Oktober"" (Typ III) in Schenkenberg, Kreis Belitzsch, zurückblicken. Die Genossenschaft, die heute bei 327 Mitgliedern und 1337 be LNF einen Vermögenswert von acht Millionen DM aufzuweisen hat, wurde 1952 von 14 Bauern mit 58 ha LNF gegründet. Schenkenberg mit seinen fünf Ortsteilen zählt heute noch sieben einzelwirtschaftende Bauern. Seit Bestehen der LBF wurden 8 neue Ställe errichtet, 15 große Stallumbauten vorgenommen und 250.000 DM für soziale und kulturelle Einrichtungen ausgegeben. Laufend stieg auch der Wert der Arbeitseinheiten. Betrug er 1953 real nur 97 Pfennige, so waren es 1957 bereits 6, 63 DM und für das vergangene Jahr wurden 9.- DM geplant. UBz: Vorsitzender, Oberbuchhalter und zwei Praktikanten der Karl-Marx-Universität Leipzig arbeiten am Jahresabschlußbericht.
