Berlin, Zeitungslektüre zur Abschaffung der Lebensmittelkarten Zentralbild Zühlsdorf 29.5.1958 Die Meinung der Berliner zur Abschaffung der Lebensmittelkarten. Unser Reporter besuchte das Werk für Fernmeldewesen in Berlin-Oberschöneweide und sprach mit den Kollegen über das Gesetz zur Abschaffung der Lebensmittelkarten. UBz: Die neue Verordnung bringt, wie wir uns überzeugen konnten, für alle eine weitere Verbesserung unserer Lebenslage. Wir haben jetzt die realen Grundlagen geschafffen, um durch weitre Steigerung der Arbeitsproduktivität unser Preisniveau nach und nach zu senken, und so unseren Lebensstandard ständig weiter zu heben. Es wird jetzt eine schwere Aufgabe sein, das Schieberunwesen zu beseitigen. Dabei müssen die Arbeiterkontrolleure so weit wie möglich helfen, so sprechen die Kollegen der Abt. Arbeit (vlnr) Herta Makowiak, Eva Milanowski, Adolf Weber und Christa Krusche.
