For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Hoyerswerda, Wohnblocks
Zentralbild Krueger voi-Ho. 9.5.1957 Kombinat "Schwarze Pumpe" - ein großer Bauplatz Noch im Jahre 1959 500000 Tonnen Briketts, ist die Verpflichtung der Angehörigen im Kombinat "Schwarze Pumpe". An der Fertigstellung des Kraftwerkes West im Kombinat wird zur Zeit gearbeitet. Der erste Kühlturm steht. Er ist 55 Mater hoch und wurde 20 Tage vor dem Staatstermin am 11.4.57 übergeben. Die drei 120 Meter hohen Schornsteine des Kraftwerkes werden nach neuen Erkenntnissen gebaut. Einer davon ist fertig. Die Kollegen des Spezialbaus für Kühltürme und Schornsteine, Leipzig, haben sich verpflichtet, ihren Halbjahrplan bis zum 15.6.57 zu erfüllen.
