Zentralbild Biscan 23.4.1957 Binnenschiffahrt auf der Elbe und Einführung der 49 Stunden Woche Im Zusammenhang mit der Einführung der 49 Stunden Woche in der Binnenschiffahrt legten die Kollegen der Deutschen Binnenschiffahrt den fahrplanmäßigen Schleppverkehr fest. Dadurch werden jetzt nicht nur Überstunden vermieden, sondern auch Zeiteinsparungen im Transportablauf erzielt. Die Schlepper verkehren nach einem festgelegten Fahrplan. Die Dampfer fahren täglich um 6.10 Uhr und 14.00 Uhr ab Magdeburg-Buckau flußaufwärts und zu den selben Zeiten ab Magdeburg-Elbreede flußabwärts.

UBz: Blick auf die Einfahrt zum Industriehafen Magdeburg, wo die Liegezeiten auf ein Minimum eingeschränkt werden. Der fahrplanmässige Schleppverkehr brachte eine wesentliche Verbesserung der Verkehrsabläufe mit sich.
