For documentary purposes the German Federal Archive often retained the original image captions, which may be erroneous, biased, obsolete or politically extreme.  Eisenach, Lutherhaus
Zentralbild Erfurt Wittig 2.6.56 Das Eisenacher Lutherhaus wurde renoviert Das Lutherhaus in Eisenach wurde während des Krieges schwer beschädigt und konnte nun Anfang Mai nach einer gründlichen Renovierung der Öffentlichkeit übergeben werden. Während des Eisenacher Aufenthalts des Knaben Martin Luther (1448-1501) fand dieser als Georgenschüler und Kurrendesänger in diesem Hause die Fürsorge der Frau Ursula Cotta und ihrer Familie. Die wieder errichtete Gedankstätte birgt jetzt auch alte Thüringer Bibeldrucke und Missionsbibeln. Einen Ehrenplatz nimmt Luthers Bibelübersetzung mit seinen handschriftlichen Eintragungen ein, während der Hauptanziehungspunkt die Luther-Stube ist, die unter Anleitung des Direktors der Wartburgstiftung Dr. Siegfried Asche, museal neu gestaltet wurde. Im oberen Geschoß des Hauses fand eine Auswahl von Ausstellungsstücken des evangelischen Pfarrhausarchives Aufnahme. UBz: Aussenansicht des Lutherhauses in Eisenach. |
